April 20th- Check out our FB page for a live tribute to Levon Helm (filmed at practice yesterday). Without his influence, our songs "Mercy," "Slow Down Easy" and "Next Time my Dreams Awake me" wouldn't exist. Thank you so much for your contributions to music, Levon. Take a load off!
March 10th- Our record is now available at Rainy Day Records on 5th Ave in Olympia!
March 3rd- "That's a wrap!" This morning we completed shooting our music video with Paul Moore Productions for our original track "On the Upside!" What a cool experience! I think we are a bit more comfortable with instruments in our hands then acting in front of a camera. Oh well, it builds character to step outside the comfort zone. We have so many thank you's to all those who assisted in this project. I promise they are coming in due time! Stay tuned for the Hitchkick music video launch party!
February 25th- Update: We've been in full-on, hunkered-down, creative mode, writing songs this past month as we are finishing up shooting our music video. Putting the finishing touches on new tunes "Hour Glass" and "The Girl Who Loves the Blues." We are also working out an upbeat screamin' shuffle that has a working title of "Justin Bieber must die." Like I said.... it's a working title!
January 28-29th- Tune in to KMAS 104.1 FM or 1030 AM (Olympia area) to hear Casey's hour long interview and live performance on the Songwriter's Stage program. Show aires Saturday evening at 9 PM, then re-aires Sunday at the same time. You can also stream it live at KMAS.com. The station will also be archiving the show on their website, where you can go back and listen to it till you simply can't stand it anymore. The show features an in-depth interview about the creation of the new album as well as two live performances and a playing of the new record!!!! Good Stuff! January, Friday the 13th- Our CD release show at the 4th Ave Tavern in Olympia!!! Music starts at 9pm with our rock-n-roll brothers Midstokke. $5 cover (cover admission gets you a copy of our CD). We will also be shooting live portions of our upcoming music video for "On The Upside" during the show!
